He was born in Haifa and studied at the School for Practical Engineers at the Technion. He served at the Ramat David Air Force Base as an electrician in the Ground Equipment Branch.
He managed MALTA and served as General Manager from 1987 until his untimely death in September 2007. All his life he loved flying and he held a civil aviation license.
