Born in Tiberius, he studied at the School for Practical Engineers at the Technion. He served at the Ramat David Air Force Base as an electrician in the Ground Equipment Branch. He served as the Chief Technological Officer (CTO) of MALTA from 1987 until it was sold in 2010. Today he volunteers as a mathematics teacher in primary school.
